Marco Wittmann and David Mengesdorf once again selected for Deutsche Post Speed Academy

Speed, reliability and high technology. There are many similarities between motor racing and Deutsche Post’s mail business. For several years now the Deutsche Post Speed Academy (www.speed-academy.de) has provided a selection of junior drivers with support and training with the aim of promoting German motor sport talent. Each year six young promising drivers are selected for the program and this season, Gravity’s young lions Marco Wittmann and David Mengesdorf are once again among the happy few. Competing respectively in Euroseries F3 and Formula BMW Europe, the pair will benefit from the academy’s financial grants and specific intensive training programs dispensed during seminars and workshops.
During the course of several evaluation rounds, a special jury will analyze the racing results of the candidates, as well as their general attitude on and off the track, making sure their sportsmanship values remain in line with those of the academy. At the end of the season, an outstanding talent will be designated and receive substantial support for his 2010 racing campaign.
